What is Route?

Route Package Protection covers lost, stolen, and damaged items that fit the following criteria. Review the policies to understand what lost, stolen, and damaged items Route will cover.

Note: When refunding an item, Route covers the subtotal of the order. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Route premium are not included.

When replacing an item, Route covers the subtotal of the order, the Route premium, shipping costs, and taxes. Route does not pay custom/duty fees.

Deadlines to Report an Order Issue

When you purchase Route Package Protection, you can report an order issue for packages that may be lost, stolen, or damaged. Read Route Package Protection Policies

All issues are eligible to file within 365 days from the order date, or 365 from the first tracking checkpoint if there is a tracking number available.

However, ensure you report an issue within the respective deadlines:

  • Damaged: Within 30 days of when the package was marked delivered
  • Lost (domestic): Between 7* and 30 days from the last tracking update
  • Lost (international): Between 20* and 30 days from the last tracking update
  • Estimated Delivery Date: On orders with an Estimated Delivery Date (EDD), please file within 2-30 days of the EDD.
  • Stolen: Between 5* and 30 days of when the package was marked delivered

*Route requires these wait-to-file periods for stolen and lost orders as packages are sometimes delayed in transit or prematurely marked as delivered. 

    What if I Didn’t Add Route Package Protection?

    Route is automatically added to the cart to ensure the best interests of customer and business so one must physically deselect it to not purchase the insurance protection. It is the customer's choice to purchase the coverage, not GlitznGlam7. 

    In the event an unprotected package is lost, stolen, and/or damaged during transit, GlitznGlam7 is not responsible for refunds and/or replacements due to choosing not to purchase Route protection. We will have to sadly direct you to USPS/UPS to file a claim with them, and we cannot guarantee the assistance one may or may not receive w/ their policies. 

    How to Report an Issue:

    When you purchase a product with Route Package Protection, you will get an email with your Order Number and a link to report an issue.
